Concept Narrative

I have been a fan of Nancy Drew since I was a child. When the time for a project for a limited time book sleeve I knew exactly what book I was going to use. This book is very unique on one side of the book there is the 1st Nancy Drew stories yet when you flip the book around there is the 2nd of the Nancy Drew stories. The ends of each story meet butt to butt in the middle of the book. Therefore the sleeve I created for this project had to cover but on opposite sides and going opposite directions. I used the vintage style book to inspire the spine and the banner that runs the top of each side. We also needed to create chapter title pages for our books. I had two books so I create two sets of chapter title pages. I used the magnified glass and the flash to define each Nancy profile on the cover and stretched that idea for each set of title pages. The first set is for The Secret of The Old Clock while the second set is for The Hidden Staircase.
